Michael soon became a major supplier to foundries in the Lancashire and Yorkshire area. As the orders came in by phone and by post a regular ’round’ was established and the Engineering and Foundry Supplies business continued to grow….
Soon Michael was joined by his sister Janet to help with the day to day running of the business and book keeping. A few years later they were joined by their brother Stephen who had previously been in the Royal Navy and had been working in a local foundry. By the early eighties, Engineering and Foundry Supplies had outgrown their home run business and had moved in to their current premises at Phillips Lane in Colne, Lancashire.
It is now an established UK supplier of industrial cleaning products, uniforms supplies, corporate wear, personal protective clothing, Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, industrial hardware and tools supplies, embroidery service, screen printing service and Alpha Mill first aid supplies. As a company it has branched out with a wide range of products and now supply all industries and offer a laundry service as well.
